Each week we will read a section from the experimental novel The Extreme Self. If you’re wondering why the inside of your head feels so strange these days, this book may have the answers. The Extreme Self is a new kind of graphic novel that shows how you’ve been morphing into something else. It’s about the remaking of your interior world as the exterior world becomes more unfamiliar and uncertain. We’ll cover topics like fame and intimacy, post-work and new crowds, identity crisis, and eternity.

The reading will be done live within the group and we will have discussions unpacking each section after reading. No need to read ahead, just come with yourself and an open mind.

This event series requires that you, BYOT (bring your own text)!

Lastly, we would like to thank our PALs for making this event series possible and completely free. To learn more about the impact of PALs, check out this page, here.
