NYC Nature Drawing Club in partnership with Index NYC will gather Sunday Sept 28th at the one and only Elizabeth Street Garden, the beloved public community green space in Little Italy that is currently under threat of total demolition. The Elizabeth Street Garden has nearly 200 years of history as an open green public space for New Yorkers. In solidarity with the massive community-led efforts to save ESGarden, we will gather at the beautiful site to draw the magical space and join in solidarity to protect and preserve Elizabeth Street Garden for generations to come.

All ages and family friendly. Free form, drop-in style drawing with basic art instruction available by two NYC Art Teachers if so desired. No art experience necessary or expectations, you could also just come join us to sit in the garden and learn about its history. Limited art materials provided including clipboards, coloring pages, pencils and paper. Seating in the garden is limited, so you may wish to bring a blanket or stool to sit on.

NYC Nature Drawing Club is a free art club open to anyone of all ages, and no experience is necessary. It was started by two NYC Art Teachers in 2022. We gather together to draw the natural world and provide limited art materials.
