Every 29.5 years or so, the misunderstood planet Saturn revisits the exact position recorded at the time of our births. Without proper context, this transit is often perceived as a point of terror or disorder. In reverence of his structure principle, students shall design their own Nativity, or natal chart, in order to compare the passage of their own Saturn placement.

In this workshop, we posit the astrologer as a translator for the Language of the Stars. Historically a divinatory study, these techniques use astrology as a way for the astrologer investigate and find meaning in their natal placements. This workshop serves as both a primer into the true astrology, and as a tool for artists to apply their aptitude in a new context.
