Join us for an introduction to the world of eTextiles, where electronics and textiles merge. In this 3-hour session, you’ll design and build your own soft speaker using conductive fabrics and threads and learn the fundamentals of crafting sound-emitting textiles.
This workshop is perfect for creatives, technologists, craftspeople, and anyone curious about the intersection of electronics and materials. Not only will you come away with a working fabric speaker prototype, but also with new insights into how textiles can be used as a medium for technology. By the end of the session, you’ll be equipped with practical skills to experiment further with eTextiles in your own work.
