In Touch Grass, we’ll examine internet virality in its respective cultural climate, both online and offline, through the analysis of various trend cycles spanning the last decade. Throughout this five week workshop, we’ll challenge the bias our Internet can introduce and call up memories to construct a timeline of our collective internet experience.
Each week, participants will review two YouTube videos released between 2014 and 2023 and give live reactions through a prompt-based roundtable discussion.
Roundtable discussions will last between 40 and 60 minutes.
