Explore the theory and practice of four oracles: Tarot, Nordic Runes, the I-Ching, and dream interpretation. Emphasizing the structure underpinning each oracle with curiosity, sensitivity, and rigor, our sessions will equip you with the know-how to perform the art of oracle consultation on your own terms — developing your intuitive wisdom in the process.
Communion with the Mystic is for folks looking for an accessible entry-point into mysticism, individuals committed to cultivating a sense of self, and anyone who wishes to connect with and honor their intuition.
Learning Outcomes
- Absorb the history and philosophy behind four modes of divination
- Discover effective methods of interacting with each oracle
- Cultivate awareness of and the courage to heed your intuition
- Unveil a sense of wonder and peace in the face of life‘s challenges
Schedule
Session 1 — Tarot
Tarot Session 1 breaks down the symbolism essential for understanding one of the world’s most popular modes of divination, and introduces key spreads and card drawing techniques to get the most out of our interactions with Tarot.
Session 2 — Nordic Runes
For Session 2, tap into Viking energy through the nordic raiders’ oracle of choice: Runes, which conceptualize life as the journey of the spiritual warrior.
Session 3 — I-Ching
Among the most ancient of all oracles, the I-Ching is both an interpreter of events and a philosophical muse. We’ll explore both interpretation in our third Session.
Session 4 — Dream Interpretation
Dreams are not only an oracle, but also a skill that we’ll develop in Session 4. Dive into the power of the collective subconscious through our run-down of common dream symbolism, techniques for lucid dreaming, and recognizing prophetic dreams.
